The Harbour2Harbour

The Harbour2Harbour charity fundraising walk was established in 2014, seeing around 70 people walk the route from Castletown, around the coast to Port St Mary, up and over the top, to finish in Port Erin.  Now in its 7th year (following the sadly cancelled 2o20 event), the Harbour2Harbour 2021 is hoping to see around 700 walkers take on the route, on Sunday 16th May.

The walk is generously sponsored and supported by Dandara.  This allows all funds raised to go directly to the Harbour2Harbour charity fund, helping support local charities; the Southern Community Initiatives, sPort Erin, and Rushen Ambulance.

Harbour2Harbour 2020

We were really disappointed to have to cancel the 2020 event, but sadly due to the island lockdown, it was the only thing to do.  Planning for a better 2021!

Harbour2Harbour 2019

The weather gods shone down on us in 2019, sunny but not too hot.  2019 saw us break our attendance records yet again, seeing over 600 walkers leave Port Erin bay and finish in Castletown Square. Over £7000 was raised for the Harbour2Harbour fund.

Event photos can be found on our 2019 event Facebook page.

Harbour2Harbour 2018

2018 saw over 570 walkers leave the Castletown slip way and head off for Port Erin.

Harbour2Harbour 2017

Thank you to you all, we had a great day, record numbers 454, raised a record amount £5,240 and the sun shone in Market Square. Thank you to Dandara, Shoprite, Castletown Silver Band, Words & Spaces, Barista Express, Coffee Republic, Green Mann Spring Water, Complete Construction Services (van and a man), Martin and the megaphone, Alastair and the bagpipes, IoM Harbours, Infrastructure AND the volunteers and anyone I may have left out

Harbour2Harbour 2016

Growing year on year, the 2016 event saw us raise an amazing £4000 for the Harbour2Harbour fund.

Harbour2Harbour 2015

We set off from Port Erin beach for the first and last time.  It seemed that people didn't like getting sand in their trainers before 'the off', so this was the last beach start for the Harbour2Harbour.

Almost 300 people joined in this year, quite the jump from the 2014 event, and £3700 raised!

Harbour2Harbour 2014

It was a slightly soggy (and breezy!) day, on Sunday 11th May 2014, when around 70 walkers took part in the inaugural Harbour2Harbour charity walk.  Leaving Castletown harbour at 10:00, heading to Port Erin harbour, via Port St Mary harbour.
